Ubersuggest for Claude
Connect Ubersuggest to Claude in the browser, the desktop app or Claude Code, then just ask — keyword research, competitor analysis, site audits and AI search visibility, backed by live Ubersuggest data rather than guesses.
Personalize → Plugins → Add marketplace → our repository. The steps are right below.
›What should I fix first on yoursite.com to get more organic traffic?
Your site ranks for plenty of keywords, but not the ones that bring customers. Here is what I would fix first, in order:
Say the word and I will start on any of them.
Example session. Run it on your own domain to see yours.
Five steps inside Claude, in the browser or the desktop app. No API key, no config file, nothing to download.
Prefer the terminal? Claude Code takes the same tools plus nine ready-made skills in two commands — that route is further down the page.
In Claude, go to Personalize and then Plugins. The button takes you straight there.
Open plugins in ClaudeClick Add, then Add marketplace, then Add from a repository, and enter ours.
ubersuggest/seo-skillsIt brings the SEO skills and the Ubersuggest connector with it.
The plugin ships the connector, so accept it when Claude asks. If it does not show up, open our listing in Claude's connector directory and click Connect.
Open the official connectorOn the first tool call Claude opens your browser. A free account is enough.
Copy one into Claude Code and swap the placeholders for your own site. The first two need nothing but your domain.
In Claude web and desktop there are no slash commands: paste the second line on its own, or just describe what you want — the connector does the rest.
›/ubersuggest:seo-action-plan yoursite.com
›/ubersuggest:project-setup yoursite.com
›/ubersuggest:keyword-research vegan meal prep
20 keywords I could realistically rank for, with volume and difficulty.
›/ubersuggest:competitor-analysis yoursite.com competitor.com
Show me the keywords they rank for and I don't.
›/ubersuggest:site-audit yoursite.com
List the technical problems in the order I should fix them.
›/ubersuggest:content-brief best running shoes for flat feet
The angle, the outline and the entities to cover.
›/ubersuggest:ai-visibility
How often my brand comes up in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
Each one is a full workflow, not a single API call — it already knows which tools to run, in what order, and how to turn the answer into something you can act on. They come with the Claude Code plugin and the skills CLI; in Claude web and desktop you reach the same tools by asking in plain language.
Every skill signs you in on the first call — a free Ubersuggest account is enough, and nothing here is reserved for paid plans. The exceptions are marked on the cards.
Drag the row, or use the arrows, to see all nine.
/ubersuggest: seo-action-planDiagnoses your site and tells you the single next thing to do, in plain language, instead of handing you a list of options.
/ubersuggest: project-setupSets a site up from scratch: the project, a business summary, competitors, the topics tracked in AI answers, and the keywords to rank-track.
/ubersuggest: keyword-researchA prioritised keyword list with volume, difficulty and intent, grouped into clusters.
/ubersuggest: competitor-analysisDomain comparison plus the keyword and content gaps against your organic competitors.
/ubersuggest: site-auditTechnical crawl, prioritised fixes and Core Web Vitals.
/ubersuggest: content-demand-finderTurns a business description into 50 content opportunities — problem clusters, the questions customers ask, and ten to validate first.
No account needed/ubersuggest: content-briefA data-backed brief for one keyword: angle, outline, secondary keywords and entities.
/ubersuggest: ai-visibilityHow visible your brand is inside ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
Needs a configured project/ubersuggest: seo-foundationsThe shared methodology and the goal-to-tool map. Loads automatically behind the others.
Loads automaticallyThe connector above is all Claude web and desktop need. Claude Code can take the full plugin instead — the same tools, plus nine skills and the seo-strategist subagent.
Two slash commands. Pulls in the skills and the seo-strategist subagent, and suggests the Ubersuggest connector on its own.
/plugin marketplace add ubersuggest/seo-skills
/plugin install ubersuggestSkills are namespaced, as in /ubersuggest:site-audit. The short form, /site-audit, works too, as long as no other installed skill claims that name.
One command puts the nine skills into Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Zed, Warp and 70+ other agents that read SKILL.md folders.
npx skills add ubersuggest/seo-skillsIt asks which agents and which skills to install. Add --agent to name them, --skill to pick a few, --list to look before installing, and -y to take the defaults.
seo-strategist takes the analyses that would otherwise flood your conversation.
›Audit yoursite.com and compare it with my three closest competitors
Handing this to the SEO strategist — it will crawl the site, wait out the audit, pull all three competitors and come back with one report.
Claude talks to the Ubersuggest MCP server over OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration.
On the first tool call Claude opens your browser and you sign in with your own Ubersuggest account.
No API key to paste, no environment variable, no config file to keep in sync.
Every tool works on a free Ubersuggest account — a free account, not no account. Your plan changes how much data comes back, not which tools run.
Calls draw on the same daily reports and monthly credits as the Ubersuggest web app. Generating an article spends 100 credits, and Claude always asks before spending them.
›/mcp
In Claude Code, run /mcp to check the connection. In web and desktop the plugin shows as connected under Personalize → Plugins.
What people ask before installing.
Live Ubersuggest data: keyword metrics, SERPs, backlinks, crawl results and AI search visibility. In the browser and the desktop app you add it as a custom connector and simply ask. In Claude Code the plugin adds nine SEO skills and the seo-strategist subagent on top.
No. Every tool works on a free account — your plan changes how much data comes back, not which tools run. Generating a full article is the one exception: it costs 100 monthly credits and needs a paid plan, and Claude always asks before spending them.
For anything that touches data, yes — Claude talks to a server that requires a signed-in token, so the first tool call opens your browser. A free account is enough and there is no API key to paste. The exception is /ubersuggest:content-demand-finder, which makes no data calls at all and runs before you have signed in. /ubersuggest:seo-foundations is a reference the other skills load on their own, so it never calls anything either.
You do not. Authentication is OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration: on your first tool call Claude opens the browser, you sign in to Ubersuggest, and that is the whole setup.
The connector gives Claude the tools, and it is the route that works in the browser and the desktop app. The plugin is Claude Code only and adds the know-how on top — skills that already know which tools to call in which order, how to cluster keywords, how to prioritise fixes, and how to turn the results into a decision.
Yes. The MCP server connects to Cursor, Windsurf, Codex and anything else that speaks MCP — our MCP page covers those setups. The skills travel too: run npx skills add ubersuggest/seo-skills to copy them into Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Zed, Warp and 70+ other agents. Only the plugin format itself is Claude Code only.
The same index that powers the Ubersuggest web app: keyword volumes, SERP data, backlink profiles, crawl results and AI Search Visibility tracking.
Install the plugin, ask what to fix on your own domain, and see what comes back.
